Muzika kao intervencija: šta pokazuju ispitivanja
Muzika ima više dokaza iz randomiziranih ispitivanja nego većina stvari koje se prodaju kao wellness. Efekti su stvarni i specifični.

Cochrane pregled muzike za nesanicu kod odraslih [5] je najjači pojedinačni dokaz ovdje. Cochrane pregledi su konzervativni po konstrukciji, tako da postojanje jednog koji se bavi muzikom uopšte odražava stvarno tijelo ispitivanja.
Muzika nije tretman za hroničnu nesanicu — to je CBT-I, pokriveno na našoj sajt za dokaze o spavanju. To je jeftin dodatak sa plausibilnim mehanizmom kroz smanjenje uzbuđenja.

Vježbanje
Literatura o vježbanju je gdje su efekti najkonzistentniji. Meta-analitički pregled muzike u vježbanju i sportu pronalazi efekte u performansama i psihološkim ishodima, a specifična ispitivanja su ispitivala anaerobnu performansu i muziku brze tempa. Vremensko usklađivanje muzike je pokazano da razlikuje percepciju umora, a personalizovani interaktivni muzički sistemi za fizičku aktivnost su meta-analizirani.
Glavni mehanizam je disocijacija — pažnja preusmjerena od interoceptivnog nelagode — što smanjuje percipirani napor pri datom opterećenju. To je pravi ergogenični efekat postignut bez promjene fiziologije.

Kliničke primjene
Intervencije muzike za psihološke i fizičke ishode su široko meta-analizirane [4]. Specifičnije primjene uključuju upravljanje sagorijevanjem kod medicinskih sestara [3] i rehabilitaciju za unilateralnu prostornu zanemarivanje [2] — potonje je zaista mehaničko, a ne samo opuštajuće, koristeći auditivnu pažnju za uticaj na prostornu pažnju. Muzička neurofeedback je razvijajuća oblast sa svojim vlastitim pregledom [1].
Biranje muzike za svrhu
- Za vježbanje: tempo usklađen sa namjeravanim ritmom, i muzika koju zapravo volite. Preferencija značajno umjereni efekat.
- Za san: spora, predvidljiva, niska dinamička raspona. Sve što vas iznenadi uništava svrhu.
- Za fokus: poznata i bez stihova. Novitet i jezik se takmiče za resurse koje pokušavate dodijeliti negdje drugdje.
- Za raspoloženje: usklađeno pa pomjereno. Počinjanje odakle jeste i pomjeranje djeluje bolje nego nagla kontrast.
